so i see that these are the same scale 1:64 as the popular hot wheels monster jam trucks. does anyone know if they turn the same way?
*the hot wheels ones have pivoting axles so they turn differently, and that turning allows them to go thru their stunt tracks/jumps etc MUCH better than same size off-brand trucks with fixed axles (they all have big rubber tires but the hot wheels versions go though curves without stopping - while the tires of the fixed axle versions we have jam up at the corners)
i'm nervous whenever the brand listed isn't a toy manufacturer (like the way that you can buy disney licensed toys from big brand and generic manufacturers but the ones made by Mattel/fisher price/melissa&doug, for example, tend to be nicer/work better)
for price comparo the ones you typically see (hot wheels) are about tree fiddy each at walmart

Spin Master makes a nice monster truck. They have been making the Monster Jam trucks for probably 5 years now, ever since the split from Hot Wheels over the tour with Bigfoot

Spinmaster makes these. If you have kids that love monster jam they want these ones, they know the monster jam trucks and become fans of specific trucks in monster jam series.

Please spill the beans! What happened over the tour with Bigfoot that made Hot Wheels split from monster jam?? I tried looking it up online but I couldn't find anything substantial.

It was more Monster Jam and Hot Wheels split when MJ wanted more of a cut of the truck sales. In response HW formed their own tour with Bigfoot, and it led to lawsuits over the similarities between trucks, etc. That is why for the longest time (maybe still true?) the HW trucks came with the "oversized" tires. The history between BF and MJ goes way back to the 80s or 90s and is why BF still owns all their own likenesses and trucks like Graver Digger are all run by MJ/Feld.

thank you! i kept seeing "monster jam" listed as the brand and usually when the manufacturer is hidden it's bad news👍

I have both these and the Hotwheels brand ones, and they're almost identical. I'd buy these for sure. The "Adventure Force" brand that Walmart also sells is noticeably worse though.
