There are a couple pictures on HF site from customers who have their screw gun with batteries in them. Driver and drill should fit. I laid my makita 1/4 impact and screw gun ontop the case i own and they fit. one if flipped upside down.

The case looks amazing... HF is HF, so I wouldnt put in my $10k camera lens in there and drop it into the Pacific for a day, but otherwise I think we are good for 99% of usage...

Little funny it has 2 lock holes LMAO

It seems pretty simple to me. If you need to offer serious protection for very sensitive items then splurge on a $100+ Pelican case. If you just need reasonable protection at an affordable price then get one of these for $20. Nobody really thinks these cases can replace a high end case for protecting expensive items.
