Are there any regions that should be avoided when doing this method?

I already bought BG3 but I just picked Cyberpunk Ultimate Edition for $23 from Egypt region. There are some other games I am eyeballing now. Good to know Argentina and Turkey are good to go as well.

I've used key sites for years with no problems , but two weeks I used Eneba and was charged multiple times through the site. All sorts of erroneous charges from Eneba and other sites before my card was flagged. Thankfully my bank caught it because I don't check my balance every day.

Nope, never had an issue with any at any time for about 3 years Ive been doing this. Microsoft knows...I do not think they care. I go to redeem on Microsoft website first as it always seems slow to load if I have the VPN on first. I copy code in and and then turn on VPN. I picked up a VPN ubnlimited lifetime a few years back exclusively for this. Turn off VPN after success message and go play game. I just have to restart console and game is there!

Not any time soon, if ever. The game only hit Xbox last week, and MS passed on an opportunity to put it on GP a while ago.

You can use VPN and regional pricing on GoG.

I got the game on there back when it was in early access for about $20 using VPN.

According to this site Russia regional pricing is about $22.50. It appears my VPN service doesn't have Russian servers anymore so can't confirm, but I can confirm the $29 Armenian price is accurate.

When you visit GoG with a VPN, you need to use Incognito mode on chrome or private mode on firefox. The site will show in whatever language and currency as the region you selected. However, once you log in to your account it will revert to english and USD while keeping in the regional pricing.

Much like this process for Xbox, I have used this trick on GoG for years and have a large library on there and never had any issues.

Second "free" VPN tried to charge my card $44 and set off fraud detection. Good thing I used virtual card number. Im now stuck looking for a free VPN to activate from Egypt. VPN.Lat seems shady AF to me and the credit card company.

Yeah, it's the popups that ask for cc info (don't give them your cc) App otherwise is free. If you're running Android use VPN Egypt, it's slow but also works.
