I bought these for $199 from Bose directly on Black Friday. When you buy direct, Bose gives you a 2 year warranty. They also price match any of their certified retail partners. These are listed for $249 on Bose.com, so you may want to chat with them if the 2 year warranty is worth it to you.

Also, you can get United Miles from Bose. Usually 1 or 2 miles for every dollar. Though on BF, they gave 10 miles per dollar! That was probably my slickest deal this holiday season.

I got some sleep buds refurbished and I'm less than happy with them.

The charge depletes in a way that means you have to charge them before every use even though on paper you shouldn't have to. It also means if I need them randomly (versus for a planned plane flight) that they'll be dead.

It took longer for me to figure out that behavior than the warranty for the refurb. When I contacted Bose they offered me a marginal discount on buying a new pair. My guess is that battery behavior is why they were sent back in the first place but on a bench the diagnostics were fine so they resold them.

I'm not saying all of their refurbs will be like that but make sure you have time to really put your pair through the wringer and before the warranty period is up.

On a tangent I bought some refurb Beats Pro headphones and a piece of the silicone tore through natural use, but it was also out of warranty and Apple had a similar response. Headphones tend to be quite expensive yet made out of commodity materials. If I had to do it again I would make sure to at least use a credit card with extended warranty (as opposed to a debit card) for buying refurb headphones.

Anyone use these as a daily headset for Teams calls? I like over ears but need a great microphone and easy mute ability. i dont travel
so the ANC isnt as important
