    They are slightly different. The one you posted is toe warmer, the other is for the entire insole. They are both good though. I like to stick the toe one the top of my foot (outside the sock), instead of on the bottom.

    Can anybody recommend a rechargeable, or different option than this. I go for a walk with my dog and its only about 45 minutes. I don't need 9 hours of warmth

    Don't worry, the claims of 9 hours is greatly exaggerated. Last time I used battery powered socks was like 35 years ago while hunting and they had small pouches for 9v batteries. Hope it's improved since then. laugh out loud

    The darn tough heavy weight or hunter version, the heavy weight smartwool.. they are expensive but highly worth the warmth and sweat displacement
