Major props to the devs for this move, its tough to break in without that big publisher backing. I looked into these guys via the steam reviews and they've previously made this well received fan game called Sonic Showdown (which, I'm actually really wanting to play after seeing videos of it). I grabbed this Head2Head game and will try it out for sure, if only to support an up and comer Dev thats making games for the right reasons, i.e. to make fun games.

EDIT: I know this probably sounds like some shilling, but I am not affiliated in any way, I've got a post history here and I'm a fairly cynical a-hole. But these guys get my respect for A) making fan games in the past, B) trying to gain community good will and C) for a game that actually looks (and seemingly plays) quite unique and distinct.

Not that it matters that much but the game is 'sonic smackdown' not showdown.

Is there anyway to add a free game to your library on mobile with the app or otherwise?

Edit: Never mind. Was able to do it directly from the website by forcing it not to open the Steam app

It only has the option to "Play Now" and wants to install 90GB right now and won't let me just add it to my library. When I search my library it's not there to choose later.

I just clicked the link on my android phone. It opened the steam app. It has a button: Add To Library

I didn't see an "Add to Library" button until I logged on. I figured it just wasn't possible to add to the library since it was a free play thing, but then I noticed that I was somehow not logged in. Maybe try that?
