Why couldn't you get 5G HI? Doesn't require changing any wiring. It's all wireless.

In the last 10 years I've lived in 8 apartments - each has only allowed one internet provider and it's either been Comcast (DMV), Optimum (Missouri) or Spectrum (LA). Maybe one day I'll get lucky and move somewhere with fiber (or at least multiple provider options). Great deal though for those who can grab it!

what happens if i use a business address to sign up but use the service at my home address which they don't service? i know i have 5g at home since i have Verizon mobile services. will they block my access?

Just got 5G Plus a little over a month ago with no promos and 3 yr price lock! Was able to speak to a rep and they will honor this new promo - Xbox, $100 Verizon GC, $200 Amazon GC, 5yr price lock…simply swapping existing router. Talking about the XBox S but will wait to pick up a few days for the XBox X promo

thanks. why would they need to replace your router? They just sent me their brand new WNC model router since I have only had service for a month, but had lots of problems with the-ASK model router which they said must be defective. I definitely don't want a multi year price lock. Is that what's required with this deal? Because right now I can go month-to-month as I understand.

Yes, I do this. It's basically a large hotspot. I use it mine in another state over 300 miles away from where I signed up lol.

It was the best way to get this new promo after speaking to several reps (3 of which had no clue). I suggested just adding the promo but returning and placing a new order got me the deal

Correction…price lock = 5 yr price guarantee and there is no contract on this

Sorry for the late reply or if someone answered. Verizon would use your account billing address to check for service so in this case it won't work because they either aren't allowing 5G home internet in your area for certain reasons. Most likely FIOS is available?

Not sure if you can actually do this but have you ever updated your account billing address and go paperless? Maybe you can just update to address B and then sign up for 5G home there.

I was thinking the same thing! I am on that $25 starter xfinity internet at 100mbps but it has data cap of 1.2 TB a month for 24 months. There is the current $30 a month for 200mbps with no caps for 24 months. I would probably cancel and change to the $30 plan as I see the $5 more a month is worth it.

Just to note, the Verizon 5G home plus comes with unlimited Verizon cloud storage. I never tried it but I would consider this value. My storage with icloud is about to cross 200GB so I would need to pay the next tier which is $10 a month. Family icloud plan here and photos/videos eat up storage with multiple users. I would have to see what Verizon cloud storage can do but it could be of value.

My experience is yes. Currently have it setup as my home address in OR but I brought it to my second home in Cali where my parents are at a couple of weeks ago. They don't need the $150 internet currently in place. This is a lot cheaper. So far it has worked great.
