FYI these are having the same troubles air printing from IOS like many other printers since iOS 17. Good printer still but printing from Safari is completely hit or miss despite the latest firmware updates.

Seems more like.... iPhones are having trouble printing since ios17. It's like by default, any issue is never Apples fault.

Bought this about a month ago, great printer! Using it in an office printing about 50 sheets a day with no problems.

I have been a Brother guy for 3 generations (tn350.tn450 and tn660 toners). All are great printers in use today. The only reason I am not using the oldest one in the fleet is that it is not duplex or networked. The other 2 are my daily drivers generally 10 pages a day between the both of them in different rooms.

Duplex printing is nice and I would put it in a must have feature. Papper prices are getting out of hand.

I was a only generic cartridge guy for 10+ years. Then one day Staples added the $50 spend on ink per 6 month requirement. So I have had a reason to switch back to a oem toner. OEM does look better for me, but heck I would be generic if not for staples.

This was $155 or so at Brother perhaps a couple weeks ago. Tried to buy several times, but web site was uncooperative for an extended period.

Is there a way to shut off firmware update right off the bat?
