I got the 48" version a few months ago. They are pretty good, not too bad to put together. The edges didn't bend like Sam's club ones I got. The rack holds weight well, but as there are no cross beams it might slouch. Only downside i found was the racks aren't really secured in place and can kinda fall through if you accidentally push the sides out at the bottom. I think Walmart is clearing this brand out, cause there is a new one called Stronghold that looks a lot better in build quality, but I can't say that for sure cause I haven't bought one yet.

Thoughts on how this would do outside in the southern california weather? Ok with it rusting out, mostly interested in using it for plant shelving.

Product is good but costumer service is bad. I got 2 of these 3 months ago and it came with one broken piece. I emailed and asked for a replacement part, they said it was purchased on Walmart so they can't provide the replacement parts

I do. I like it. Just make sure you don't use for small items because of the wire grid. But it is sturdy and would but again

I can speak to the quality of Stronghold. We use stronghold storage cabinets in our manufacturing shops throughout the US. Those cabinets are damn near indestructible. We use them outdoors in some locations without issue (not in the Gulf, obviously). I have to imagine any product Stronghold is putting out there, even if it's for Walmart, is going to be resilient as all hell.

FYI for anyone who hasn't had this style of metal shelf before, you have to put the third shelf exactly in the middle b/c the upright posts are in two halves. This made mine not work nearly as well for the bins I had b/c I thought you could make any height you wanted. IMO they are also very obnoxious to put together b/c of this.
