Laptop...

And who pays 4090 money to view it on a tiny 14" screen? Gaming laptops will never make sense to me I guess.
It's called an external monitor. Travel with light laptop and connect hdmi cable to hotel 4k TV.

Oh boy, a 4k 60Hz lowest bidder TV is exceptionally better...
How would you travel with full PC anyway?
And for the screen you can buy any monitor you like and connect it to your laptop for gaming.

before you ask what is the point for having laptop instead of a PC?

PCs or laptops isn't just for gaming. you can't travel or go anywhere with PC.

I had this laptop with a 3060 and felt the screen was too small to enjoy gaming on the go. That said, it is portable and a heck of a machine (with a 4090) for using an external monitor.

No, don't get me wrong. Laptops for productivity on the go absolutely have a place. But paying that much to game on the go is just insane to me when there are great portable gaming consoles like the Switch and Steam Deck.

To answer your points, obviously you can't easily make a desktop mobile. Then again, you can't easily make a monitor mobile either, which contradicts your second point.

I'm not attacking anyone or being that guy that says you'll get diabetes in a soda thread. I'm just genuinely trying to understand their usefulness. I know they aren't for me, just seeking other viewpoints and trying to understand different opinions.

I had the old g14, I need a small laptop to easily fit on backpack because I used to fly a lot for work, then I game in hotel room, some warcraft and dota. At home I hooked it up to 27 inch external monitor. I did also had my switch but some games are better with mouse and keybaord.

So you've got 60Hz and probably crazy input lag?

Is this thing a nuclear reactor with a 4090 in 14" chassis?

You aren't the only one. Nothing about laptop gaming sounds appealing at all

This insane beast of a laptop is somehow 3.8lbs, and looks sexy af. Every other gaming laptop is 5-8lbs, and looks like the brick it is.
