Never understand companies removing features from top end products. Why is not touchscreen?
I can understand not wanting a touchscreen on an OLED display. The digitizer adds a grainy effect on white backgrounds that is not present on non-touch versions, reducing the image quality.

can anyone that bought it last time share their battery life experience and if the machine gets hot
I've had one for almost a year, open-box. It initially ran hot and was loud(possibly why it was returned) until i reset it with the Samsung software. I can get over 6 hours+ when running in quiet mode . It gets hot when editing video/ gaming as expected. The screen is 10/10 beautiful.
This looks super nice, and would pair well with my Samsung phone and tablet. Unfortunately, I sent back my Samsung tablet because I couldn't open the notes on my Windows computer...

Beautiful screen, poor battery life on this model.
I would recommend the one without the dedicated graphics unless you really need it if battery life is important to you. I have the one without a graphics card and love it. Much lighter and longer lasting. The screen is, I think, better than many OLEDs I've seen. Gets brighter and has 120hz. Samsung is good at displays.

Don't agree at all. The 4K AMOLED (Touch) display on the Razer Blade 15 is the best I've used on a laptop. Also had the same display (non-touch) on the Dell XPS 15 and Gigabyte Aero 15. There's not really any disadvantage. In off angles with bright light, you may be able to see the polarization grid. But it's not very apparent. Tuning is also amongst the best.
Glossy finish is the best for high PPI displays. Glossy vs matte is more important than whether the display is touch or not.
From my experience testing one of the other laptops with Samsung's 120Hz 3K displays, tho (Asus). It does appear that there is some color fringing on edges, like with the 34" QD-OLED panels from Samsung (I own the 34" Alienware). Perhaps it has the same triangular sub-pixel arrangement, or a similar issue. Haven't checked out the Book3 Ultra, probably should.

I'm just going off what the guy at ultrabookreviews.com says here. I've never been bothered by polarization grids myself but apparently you can perceive that they are there. He mentions the issue on white backgrounds comparing touch vs non-touch versions of the same panel.

It's pretty much a non-issue to me, compared to the finish of the display or potential issues like color fringing (which is a huge impact). Those have direct negative impacts on the picture quality. Basically, other factors are far more important. If display is more matte, and non-touch, it won't look as good as a glossy touch display.
I could see it being more annoying / pronounced if used in direct sunlight often, to be fair.

Would only be that low if the graphics card is being used. 5+ hours is normal and it can be stretched to 8+ depending on screen brightness and refresh rate for web browsing .

Ram, CPU, and GPU can be upgrade but the cost becomes $2399. I'm not sure how hot it would run.
