I recently had a Macy's order fully paid with gc, a Walmart order partially paid with gc, and a lego order with insider discount codes, they all received cb from Raktu10 for the order subtotal before tax. I guess it should be fine.

Did you paste the gift card number on the lego site? If so it will not work. You have to physically type it in and it works. It took me a while to figure this out.
