While supplies last, available in store or another $5 for shipping.

Sale goes through Dec 24th per the signage inside.

MK2K3LL/A - 64 gig Space Grey $250

MK2N3LL/A - 256 gig Space Grey $380

Seems to match other previous sale prices over the past month or so.

Looks like all 9th gen options are $70 off, cellular too, but those are shipping only.

What's the difference between the 9th and 10th generation? I'm a Samsung guy but my kid needs an iPad for her school's learning program. Already picked up the 10th generation since she's in elementary school and hoping to get a bunch of years out of it. I did pay $499 for the 10th generation 256gb.
10th gen has the new design like the iPad Pro. Also USB C ports instead of lightning. 1 year newer CPU, so probably 1 more year of updates.

9th has the older design with the front circle home button and fingerprint sensor. It is easier for some young kids to use. Also has headphone jack. Processor still plenty fast.

Thanks bud. The type C ports are worth the $100. Didn't know the iPads went that way also.

Appreciate it.

I got it in July and that's why when iPad OS 17 came out in September, I purposely kept mine on OS 16. It's now running 16.7.2 and still zippy as ever, and I will completely avoid updating it to 17 which has been known to slow this model down. I will keep doing OS 16 security updates as they come out. Apparently OS 17 cripples this model, like it unfortunately did for yours.
ah darn, that must be it then.

Good deal... picked up a 64GB model for my wife (replacing 1st gen iPad Air) a couple of days ago. Thought about shelling out additional bucks for a 256GB model, but my wife has never used more than half of the 32GB on her old Air, so doubling to 64GB should be sufficient to cover her needs.

One additional note: This is a two year old model, so coming out of the box, you'll need to run an update. I expected this when I was setting it up, but after running the update, I got an error message when trying to connect it to a tv. After a few frustrating moments, I discovered a second update still needed to be run. After running that second update, it's connecting as expected.
I have Gen8 and 9 in my house. They are all slow. I can't recommend any of them.

Sorry to hear about your poor experience. In our case, the newly acquired gen 9 is running significantly faster than the gen 1 Airpad that we replaced. However that's to be expected since that particular model of Airpad was first introduced over 10 years ago.
