I got this on the last deal. It works for my needs, more content creation than gaming. It looked brand new despite being refurbished. The only negative I found so far is the laptop doesn't use the video card for external graphics. Only the built in screen gets the video card. Also, you have to have a displaypot dongle if you want output 4K at 60hz. Hdmi dongle will only do 30hz at 4K for external monitors.

Mistakes happen, especially with that volume of posts.

Honesty the quality of the deal is far more important. This is a sick price (even for a refurb) with a GPU and touch screen.

FWIW, I bought a refurb touchscreen laptop from The Official Lenovo Store back in June. If it didn't have a sticker on the bottom that said "refurbished" you would not have know it was anything other than brand new. Even came packed as new with manuals, retail box, etc. Flawless.

Lenovo refurbs are legit, think I've got like 5 of them now, the only one that didnt look absolutely new had a small scuff on the lid. For me they're on par with apple refurbs look wise.

I have one of these, got it refurb from Microcenter (refurb by Lenovo). The ebay link is from the official Lenovo store...... I think these would be ok. The one I got looked brand new.

The RTX 3050 isn't a top tier gaming GPU but it will destroy any integrated alternatives. Can play Diablo 4 smooth on 1080p medium. For $620 free shipping, this is a steal. 4:3 screen 3072 x 1920 is nice compared to most 15" widescreens. Also it's a touchscreen which the wife loves.

Geez OP, add some details.

I will echo other's experience with the eBay Lenovo store: Good. I scored a 16" i7 with 32gb ram and Lenovo a few months ago for <$450. Unit looked like new.

Make sure to test the unit out completely though. I had to go through 2 of them as the first one had a weird white haze on the screen.

Easily deal of the year for me, even with the hassle of initially purchasing at $602 (which I thought was a great deal), and having to go through a bunch of hoops.

That's a huge difference in weight. 4.6 lbs will feel like carrying a brick in comparison.

My apologies, I wasn't comparing that deal and this deal, IMO, sort of different as 16" vs 14.5". But, both processors came out in Q1 '22 per CPU Benchmark [cpubenchmark.net]. I'll also add that your deal has DDR5-6400, while the older deal has DDR5-4800. Especially important for AMD processors! Smilie

IMO, Nvidia 3050 > A370M. I'd personally prefer a 14.5" over the 16" for portability.

100% different use cases - IMO. I wasn't trying to poo-poo OP's deal, rather respond to deshwasi's request. I do think this is a great deal, and I'd also recommend keeping an eye on this in case Lenovo drops the price later (similar to the deal I linked - it dropped ~$150).
