This seller sucks when it comes to refurbished products! Even "new" products arrived used. Can't trust them!

FWIW, I've bought two different models of refurbished Sony earbuds from them, and they've looked and operated fine.

I received my Xbox set today. It was in the original packaging and not the Astro refurb packaging.

The set I received works perfectly and looks brand new.

I'm guessing mine was just an open box return.
