The sizes listed are the pants sizes. I would look for a size chart.

Usually for pant sizes you subtract 6 from suit size. So a 44 would be 38 waist pant size. The pant length is another story. Usually they make them 36 length and you take them to tailor to get them cut and hemmed to your size.
This one says it subtracts 7"
