This couch is terrible, have had it for a couple years and it fills me with rage every single day. All I want for Christmas is a new couch. It's falling apart, the back cushions are too soft and don't come up high enough so they end up ripping away from the back when you sit down. God forbid you accidently sit down not squarely in the center of one of the seats - you'll slam down into the frame at the edges and see your life flash before your eyes. It's impossible to clean well unless you plan on scotch guarding the whole thing. For the love of all that is good save yourself the money and rage and skip this deal.

I'm actually really surprised about the negative comments. I'm 32, single, male, with a 1500sf condo.

I have the couch set up in a u shape. When friends are over there's plenty of space. When friends visit from out of town they sleep on it rather than the guest room. I personally fall asleep on it multiple times a week 🤷🏻 ♂️

It's the most comfortable couch I know of and would buy it again and again. The tufting doesn't have additional buttons on it so there's nothing poking you and I don't even notice it.

I bought it in October 2020 and it has no damage at all to it. I put the chaise in the center probably once every other month and I take apart the entire thing probably every four months to sweep and vacuum underneath it. Everything still comes apart and goes back together as good as new.

I also live on a third floor walk up so in room delivery was a necessity.

It seems like I may have just gotten lucky, but I'm a huge fan.

Just returned a couch to Costco. They scheduled pickup- super easy. No timeframe either- if it doesn't hold up after a year or two or whatever, they'll take it back no problem. Good peace of mind.

If you buy in store you have to return it to the store yourself but if you buy it online they take care of it.

how would this be with cats? 🤔
Depends on the cat. We have a cat that doesn't scratch on anything besides her post. She does fine with this BUT when she stretches sometimes it'll snag on the fabric. Costco delivered and set up the couch for us. They also hauled away the boxes and plastic so no fun for the cat… but nice for us!

Poor quality furniture. Zero information on frame material or cushion density with the latter item being one of the most important things that determines couch longevity. This is probably 1.8-2.0 lbs/cu ft. which means these cushions will last 2-3 years.

A good sectional like this can be had for $3-4000 from reputable online vendors like DreamSofa. Their quality will be leagues better and you'll actually get 15-20 years out of a sofa and fully designed for you.
You forgot you can just return to Costco if it goes bad. I returned a leather sectional to Costco after it started tearing after 2 years.

I don't think I would want one that will last that long lol, maybe it's just us but trends change and wouldn't want our house to look dated. We've had our current sofa for 7 years and think it's time for a change.

Just bought this online, on the one day thanksgiving sale. It's the regular fabric and so far we like it. Time will tell how it holds up.

do they lock together or easily separate on lvp flooring?
There is a latch underneath that connects them. The side pillows have zippers and buckles. I got few days ago (bought individual pieces, wanted 4 corner and 1 center pieces). The price was about the same due to 'costo direct' giving $400 off for 5 items. I arranged them as loveseat (2 corner pieces) and sofa (2 corner + 1 center piece). Mine is fabric and it looks nice. If you jump sit, the latch under may go up and separate pieces making you fall between the pieces. Otherwise they look mighty fine.

Yea mines pretty good with using scratch post but every so often when he stretches out, his claw will get caught up in the couch. Currently have a fabric one from city furniture that has some minor scratch damage lol

Thanks didn't know this! You mean the 2 side/end ones are delicate?
Yes, I'm talking about the corner chairs. The side panels of corner chairs are made of plastic. Do not try to push in the middle of the corner chair or it will crack easily At this price it's worth it. I bought it for $1,999.99 and I still think it is worth it.

We got ours delivered on Monday (waiting for a price adjustment now haha). We sat on this sofa in the warehouse 2 years ago and didn't have the space/need at the time. Glad to get one now.

Firm seating, with some bouncy give as opposed to a plushy sink-in give. Looks beautiful in the light gray (has more dark texture in it to hide spills/stains than you'd think from the photos). The interlocking system is very easy to use. Hope it lasts us the next 5+ years.
