I simply had this $5 loaded in my Best Buy account, so when I was placing an order yesterday, I was prompted to apply the $5 to my order. You know it is this promo because it expires very soon on Christmas.

Yup; mine was loaded in my account as well. Ordered a $6 LEGO set for a Toy Drive and at checkout it asked if I wanted to use my rewards certificate. Got free shipping as well.

It must be targeted because some of my friends got it and others didn't. I hadn't shopped at Best Buy in a long time…

Glad some are getting it though!

I didn't get the offer. I got $5 back in September. I bought 4 hot wheels cars for $5 with free shipping. I would have done the same if I got the offer. I did spend about $500 at Best buy this year.

I had one of these in my account that was issued 2/19 and was expiring 3/10. I don't recall ever receiving an email about this being loaded to my account.
