Great headphones and an absolute steal at this price. As an owner myself, I recommend letting these "burn-in" for 2-3 days, that is, play a variety of music at a moderate volume to allow the drivers to loosen up (stick them in a drawer if you don't want to hear it). I thought I was going to return these after initial listening and setup using the soundcore app (HearID test), but sound quality improved quite notably and are now solid contenders especially at this price. Also, IMHO the best overall sound for music is achieved with active noise cancelation (ANC) enabled (vs Normal/Off or Transparency Mode). Sub-bass sounded more present (but not overdone) this way. Recommend using ANC for the burn-in period as well. Obviously don't use ANC if you're biking, walking or in a situation which requires you to be aware of your surroundings, however.

After burn-in, go back to the soundcore app and rerun the HearID test if you're still not liking the sound quality, or tweak further to dial things in to your preference.

As far as call quality, I can hear just fine and callers think I sound okay, but I don't make calls in noisy environments to comment any further.

Some reviews mentioned bluetooth lag with this headset: running the latest firmware (6.34 per the soundcore app), I encountered none when paired to my Amazon Firestick 4k. I also did not encounter lag when paired to my phone using LDAC (for higher fidelity). Audio sync was spot on for both devices when watching people talk on news programs. It's possible this issue was corrected from earlier firmware versions, but I updated my headset as soon as I got it via the app.

Just my two cents and hand to the Slickdeals community bible that I am not a paid shill and bought mine for $100 from Amazon in the past week.

Being an owner of these, having bought them about 3 weeks ago, I've charged them twice and have used them for over 35 hours. They're still at 50% charge also. Your unit probably has a worn battery.

There's not one Costco Next store. You're buying from the manufacturer and need to look at their return policy. Standard Anker warranty applies.

If you prefer in-ears (not as effective for ANC though), the Space A40 is also a good buy on Costco Next at $40 right now.
Thanks for this. Just an FYI for everyone, the minimum amount for free shipping on Anker via Costco Next is $45.

Looks like these dont come with a travel case... kind of unfortunate for a high end headset but anyway, anyone recommend a good sized case for these? If they really compete with the high end offerings that start at $150 on deep discount, i am willing to give them a go. Going to need a way to keep them fresh in my backpack though.
These absolutely do come with a travel case. I got mine a week ago thru Costco's Anker Direct portal. It's a nice hard shell case. The only real negative to it is there is not a little built in mesh area to hold the cables (charging and 3.5mm cable). Looking at my case as I write this.

I picked these up last year around the same time for $110. Definitely worth $80. I stopped using them for conference calls and just went back to wired. I couldn't stand having a separate device created in windows just for calls. I wanted calls, music, etc routed through one device. Whenever I would jump on a video call it would revert to bluetooth headset and mic. I'd be picking up the phone saying "hello hello can you hear me?" I had them paired both to my laptop and iphone which caused further confusion. I dont know if its a bluetooth issue or headphone. Otherwise these sound great, battery life is awesome I could go a few weeks without having to charge, and conformable enough to wear all day.

I'm not familiar with Costco Next. I assume you can't just return them to a Cost B&M?

4.5/5 rating on Amazon for those interested (and currently selling for $130 there):

Bought them certified refurbished from Amazon for the same price. Battery life is abysmal with under three hours although the outside appearance is impeccable. I discount that to improper refurbishment.

In calls some peers complain about a light hall when ANC is on. There is a tiny amount of lag, it becomes more apparent in calls and overspending/interrupting. Firmware is the newest available. It doesn't operate when charging, bummer. Range is ok, 30ft, much better than my jabra evo 65.

Works just fine paired to a Mac.
You must have a bad unit. I get an insane battery life. Like twice as long as my Bose qc45. I get around 25 hours with ANC on and way more if I didn't have it in (like 40 or 50 hours). I've honestly never had headphones that play this long on a charge.

If these sound anything like the Q30, they'll need a lot of EQ to tone down the bass and make them sound decent/good.

Definitely seems like a good deal. FWIW these are also available on Crutchfield for $100 right now, and I was able to get Best Buy to price match them. Decided to go that route for the better return policy (free returns until 1/13/24) just in case they don't fit what I'm looking for.

It's interesting that this is front page, but when it was $75 on TikTok, nobody even cared

I had the QC30s and really liked the sound and ANC but they would always disconnect on me in Teams calls. Has this been corrected on more updated models?

I like these headphones. They're light, comfortable, block out enough noise, and are about half the price of my more expensive pairs. My buddy at work has the same pair, but they cracked at the plastic portion of the headband. Anker sent him out another pair without any hassle though as he was within his warranty period.

Mine have held up fine, but if you have a big head, the plastic on these will eventually crack. Also, the included case is a pain to use as it's barely big enough to hold the headset.

If I didn't already own 3 pairs of soundcore qc30's I would jump on these. Soundcore is fantastic quality and comfort, even more so than the crappy expensive Sonys that I had.

I have Cowin E7 wireless headphones look like new, but the foam around the ear started to deteriorate which not good. Is Anker headphone ear muff leather or foam?
