Not the end of the world I'd rather throttle than travel with 7 pounds of weight extra
- It's heavy
- 250-nits, 45% NTSC is DARK
I don't like the 250 nits. If you plan to use it as desktop replacement or with an external monitor as your main one, it is fine. However, it destroys the purpose of being a laptop.

For the price, this looks like a pretty good deal imho.
- Do not use your card via third party (i.e paypal, e-wallet...)
- $599+ that AMEX requires is the total amount you pay Dell after tax (item+tax)
I made a mistake of using AMEX but via Paypal. AMEX refused to give me the bonus. I did not read AMEX's conditions from AMEX page. I hope you will not make the same mistake.
Around this time last year, I had this laptop Dell G15 but back then it was different with the lower specs in terms of processor and ram of video card:

I upgraded the GPU to the rtx 3050 and was out the door $500 after tax because of the education discount. They have 32gig ram in their old computers I was going to swap and I bought 1TB SSD for $50ish. They have external monitors and this would be their main rig. I'm mainly wondering which CPU is better and if the ddr5 vs the ddr4 makes a significant difference. Price will be similar so I'm just wondering if this is worth returning the others and getting this instead if I were to upgrade this to 32 g ram as well. Thanks in advance!
