If you want noticeably better build quality, you will need to spend at least double or triple the price.

Read 1,000 or 10,000 owner reviews of any new computer, and never do you find any customer praising the BitLocker feature preinstalled in their new computer, but wow, you do find many complaints. Customer feedback on BitLocker is 1-sided, but oddly there is no option from a major retailer to buy a new computer without BitLocker ticking away inside it waiting to cause misery at any moment.

Edit::Never mind. It has poor ratings on battery life. Pass
They flex too much under normal handling, which causes many of the components to partially decouple. This lead to sporadic issues that are very difficult to diagnose.
Buy something with better build quality and a stronger chassis.
Note: looking for budget friendly, nothing fancy for my mother

VA as a panel type (distinct from ips, or "in plane switching") stands for "vertical alignment.
In the specs here it stands for viewing angle, with w standing for wide. You'll sometimes see uwva for ultra wide viewing angle.
Seeing wva specified doesn't tell you the exact panel type, only that it is not a TN panel, which has more narrow viewing angles and is sometimes listed as sva for standard viewing angle.
With so many acronyms and abbreviations these days there's bound to be overlap. I've had to explain to many folks that the 5g wifi network on their router has nothing to do with 5g cell phone networks (they abbreviate "5 gigahertz", and "5th generation", respectively.)
