Didn't want to keep posting separate deals so I put them all in this thread. If you see one you are interested in, do your research to see what it goes for. Do not trust Amazons "typical price", it's usually wrong. The savings is sometimes much higher. Sorry if I posted something that's already been shared to SD

The only two brands I recognize are Inmotion and Yume. They have many YouTube reviews. I did extensive research before purchasing my scooter. It's not always about top speed, but having enough power to accelerate across intersections or the torque to make it up hills. It's also easier to jump off a scooter than any motorcycle. Wearing protection should be mandatory for any of these going over about 10mph, imo.
It says 11pro when you add to cart, but during checkout it says y10 again and the specs is consistent with the y10 instead of the 11 pro.
Was about to cancel my Yume Hawk from yesterday but that already shipped.
Upon further research the 11 Pro is weighted at 110lbs. I already thought the Hawk was heavy at 77lbs. Lol
My only concern about the 11pro is that it's an "older" model scooter so to speak. So the battery may be degrading. My experience with YUME has been great. However, I purchased it directly from them. So not sure what the warranty would be with it being purchased from Amazon.
The hawk is their new line. Have someone that has the pro version and it's quite nice. Smooth acceleration and the suspension holds up well.

The hawk front suspension is better than motorcycle style right? Wondering if I should wait or get The 48v 800 watt scooter for $300 which seems really cheap for that large of a battery. Would have pulled trigger but can't figure out why 2 year warranty plan is 55 when the others are $23

To each their own. I don't like the motorcycle style as I feel that it breaks down faster. If you plan on using it in flat surfaces, it should be fine. But if it's off-road, best to get a single.
With the lower models, their advertised range is not what it really is due to the use of cheaper batteries. 800w scooter will struggle on inclines. Ultimately it comes down to what you want to use it for and the available parts that can be purchased. Lower end scooters don't allow for that.
18 deaths out of 65k ebikes in NYC, and I'm sure most were caused by crashes or careless dip*****
ALL lithium powered electronics have a chance of explosion. Cell phones, laptops, hybrid cars ... If you're scared of an ebike battery then maybe you should hide in a closet full of pillows until your 90 ... Oh wait, pillows can kill you too.
You wouldn't have been so confident if you had been in China, where these cheap ebikes are made, for a few years. I spent 2 years in China and just came back to the States 4 months ago. These ebikes are not allowed to be charged in door in China due to frequent spontaneous combustions during charging. Compared to cell phones and laptops, the fires caused by the ebike batteries are much more serious.

So hawk style is better right? I remember when the goped came out with that style it was super expensive but I remember it being pretty nice. Well, ill probably hold off for now, bought the $411 rattan deal with extra 20ah battery, couldn't resist.
I think the photos of the ridestar are being used across a few of the listing. For example, The ridstar link shows a ridestar bike but the brand is listed as Bopkin. Also, the link for the ELTRBIK bike has Ridestar photos but the brand is ELTRBIK. What bike will arrive is the question.

I ordered a few (and canceled some before they got shipped). All those scooters on sale are shipped from Amazon's warehouses. Amazon is trying to clear out some inventory apparently. One of the best deals is the Inokim OXO for $799 (60% off).

I [amazon.com] don't know much about scooters but seem good for $100. Is this a good deal?
