I bought this during the last sale. It works great. I have a usb port on my head unit that is useless, but it puts out enough power to keep this charged. If you don't have a usb port in your car then consider getting one with a battery.

I have the older bluetooth 5.0 version of the top one and assuming it hasn't significantly changed I highly recommend it if you have a car without bluetooth. The lack of a battery is actually a plus because it turns on when you turn your car on and off when you turn your car off without having to fuss with it.

It does say "connected" when it connects like the comment above is saying but I don't know why anyone would be bothered by that.

I concur. I have the 5.0 bluetooth set in one of my older cars and it works very well.

Now I have to look up and see if going to 5.3 will make my music sound better and see if I need to upgrade Big Grin, decisions, decisions.

I remember buying this similar one (probably older bluetooth version) and the mic really sucked people on the other side just can't hear my voice clear. Not sure if it has improved.

Anyone know if you can connect this to an old stereo. It connects to two speakers and a turntable. Only available ports are on the stereo front . Mic L and R and a phones jack.

Not to sure with the old systems

So you can use the Bluetooth for pc usb adapter in a usb car head without drivers and the pc os. ?

I bought this a few months ago when it was on sale. I'm using it on my Subaru Tribeca 2013, and I'm very happy with playing Spotify wirelessly. It's hidden in the center console. It's powered by usb car charger plugged into cigarette lighter, and the other end is connected to aux port. When I turn the car off it's powered off automatically. When I start the car, it turns on and my phone connects to it immediately. Yes, like others stated before in this thread, you'll hear "connected" in Asian female accent Smilie

this is a 3.5mm jack, its been a while but you would need a splitter for teh R and L

The USB is for power only (so no PC, or drivers). You plug the cable into your speaker port, the bluetooth module is built into the cable.

You need RCA spliter to 3.5mm. My old 08 Honda Pilot doesn't have 3.5mm, only has rca. I use something like this one and pair it with this bluetooth adapther. It works fine.

Use with a F-to-F 3.5mm cable and a cassette adapter, and you can stream BT audio to a vintage deck from the 80's and 90's.

FWIW, I have a cig lighter USB cable that has a built-in BT->FM transceiver, no need to have an aux in, just tune your radio to the frequency you set. Audio cable might be slightly better quality (maybe?) but FM is much simpler (and universal).
