Yea that's also 3x the cost. Is that what we do here now just show people how poor they are? Lmao

Shocking that u could find something 3xs the price that is marginally better than what OP posted.

Just cause it's the same model doesn't make it a direct comparison unless it was the same price or at least CLOSE.

Needless to say do we really need to point out the fact that "gaming" is a term that's been loosely thrown around the tech world for decades?

Just not sure how posting a link to something 3xs the cost with a dedicated gpu is in anyway helpful in a post for something with integrated graphics. Same model or not I'm just not seeing the comparison.

They marketed this as a gaming laptop but put integrated gpu in it. The 3050 Ti, which was used on the previous gen, is miles better and yet the GPU is not regarded as powerful by any means. No wonder why they aren't getting any sales.

The real deal is the unit with 4070 & 32GB [bestbuy.com] but it's ridiculously priced for what it is. It would be a great deal at mid $1k mark IMHO.

Got this for $100 more on BF sale. It's the only semi decent 2 in 1 that can run most recent-ish games for my teen without being absolutely ridiculously expensive. Now will have to price adjust or return. Fudge.

It's a shame asus does not bring the 4050 and 4060 models to US market. They are sold overseas. Those GPUs are more suitable for this class of laptop than 4070.

Update: price adjusted via online chat quickly and efficiently, not as much a hassle as I expected.
Am excited to have this price adjusted to $800 from $900 b/c now I'm much less likely to keep looking for alternatives (it's still within return period). Had been seeing 2-in-1s with Radeon Vega (and other various specs lower, too), but costing not more than $150 less. Will probably stick with this one now permanently unless some unicorn that's out of this world pops up.

Anyway, what is it about them not including a 3050s or 4050s in these "gaming" 2-in-1s like they used to? Whether in office or "gaming" machines I've been seeing - the 780m is the best I'm able to find under $1k. Everything else is either Radeon Vega or Intel XE based, either of which would be half the graphics performance to this 780. Yet the 780 is no 3050, more like a 1050... Perplexing, since last July I found a similar ROG with a 3050 TI for the same $900.

How come? Cannot find anything better in the 2-in-1 domain for under 1k. I'd value any suggestions.

this is me also. Thought $899 was a great price for this laptop. Even better now. Pricematching as we speak. Easy peasy with their online chat.

bro was probably trollin. you are right there is no other 2in1 of this caliber out there and one that benches this heavy even with integrated graphics (way better than all the intel ones you see out there). ive searched high and low before buying this. This laptop is as one of the reviewers said, an unicorn. This unless you are ok with the previous gen GV301, then ok that was a better deal with the discrete graphics when it was on sale.
