Another use case would be recording background sound or foley. I'd recommend attaching it to a tripod for the former and a gorilla pod or pistol grip for the latter. (anything to dampen handling sound, which the H6 will most certainly pick up).
One more use case would be voice-over. Be sure to use the foam filter to cover the XY mics. make sure the mics are 5-6 inches away from your mouth, and speak across the mic rather than into it. Only attempt this in a controlled space. A clothes closet works well. The idea is to only record in a place that minimizes/absorbs room reflections. You could also throw a blanket over your head and the H6. I'd also recommend only using 1 microphone for this. Just turn off one channel in post-production.
Just some thoughts. It really is a swiss army knife. So get creative.
