We have already received over 2 million thank yous and the promotion is now over. The promotion where eligible drivers received $5 for every thank you, was for drivers who received the first 2 million 'thank yous' starting December 12, 2023.
About the program
Drivers deliver for our customers every day, and we want to show them our sincere appreciation and connect them with the customers they serve. Any time a customer in the United States says "Alexa, thank my driver", clicks the yellow button on this page or searches for 'Thank my driver' on Amazon, the driver who delivered the customer's most recent package will be notified of the "thank you" they've received.

Amazon made $10 billion in profits last quarter.

This promotion was capped at paying out $2 million, or 0.02% of that excess capital, to their delivery drivers.

I think Amazon can do better and deserves no kudos for this stunt. I still pushed the stupid button though.

Quote from Silverback :
I have worked for USPS in the past. You do not understand at all. This is not a "mission statement", it is Federal Law. Not only would it violate USPS policy and be grounds for termination it could violate federal laws including 18 U.S.C. 208 and 209, Executive Order, or supplemental agency regulation.

And knowing this you still double down on stupid thinking that the Postal Service itself would assist in this.

Now people would probably not go to jail over $5 but they could lose their job and people do go to prison for violating these laws.

FedEx and UPS cannot make laws, they cannot put their employees on trial, they cannot sentence them in a court of law, the US Postal Service can. Thank you for playing.

Look up United States Postal Inspectors and notice they are a Federal Police Agency. What does UPS or FedEx have that is close to that?

My point is there are way too many that have gotten away with all kinds of crimes. The stories are plentiful, especially during an election year. The USPS is as corrupt as the rest of our Govt. Look at the whole mail truck full of ballots that the usps guy was told to transport across state lines and did and parked where he was told to in a hotel parking lot and the next day the whole truck was missing. PA is where they were going or being sent with the other state being NY, if I recall right. His story got silenced and he even testified about it. NOTHING happened to him or those who were responsible either. Why because they are either our own USPS agencies or those they are in cahoots with. Heck there's video of ballots being brought to USPS during the night of the election, MI I think was one and thr ballots being handed over from the vehicles. The cameras were USPS cameras and workers. Saints they are NOT!

Pretty sure you're making fake news or following trump on X with that goofy statement

I love in a small town in a relatively poor area and UPS drivers here are making $45 an hour. So quit talking out of your ass if you don't know what your talking about. They are union drivers.
