If you use the online cancel button and accept the 3 month free extension you will need to call to cancel before it renews in 18 months. If you don't accept the 3 month extension you can cancel online without the phone call.
Using Privacy credit cards should do the trick in that case without having to call to cancel after getting the 3months free.

So half-off Sportsline's $24.99 quarterly price? But for life?

I suppose $4.17 isn't bad per month, but no guarantee you'd get the P+/Showtime for life. No commitment though.

My current Sportline deal ($4.99 for 7 months [71ยข per month]) goes until March 29, 2024 or I'd jump on this deal.
That is my hesitation. It gives you Sportsline for 50% off lifetime, but what if CBS disbands Paramount+ from being included? You pay $15 more this year to gamble on future years, and may come out behind since they seem to do these deals every year.

Was able to end my subscription through Google and add this (same email). Worked on the laptop with no ads and access to Showtime. When I logout and log back in on my Shield box will it update my account to no ads on the shield?

If my paramount plus subscription ends January 7th, will I be able to link my sportsline account to my current paramount plus account once that subscription officially ends? I know I could probably just make a new paramount account, but I would like to keep my watch history and profiles on my current account.

Hmm... worked with my inactive account (on both sites, with the same email).

So it seems like we'll have to "juggle" two separate pairs of accounts for every alternating year (or however long this deals continue).

Going up by $15 is unfortunate, hope there is enough content on Showtime to make up for it.

I went ahead and bit. It was totally worth it when it was $9.99, so hopefully, it will be a little worth it at $34.99.

Canceled WM+ linked paramount+ acct
Changed email address on above canceled acct to a temp email
Joined sportline using the code
Joined Para+ back with old email (now removed from old acct)
Tried cancel Sportline and got one month extension

Lets hope Para+ membership stays for the 13 months as well, otherwise $35 will be wasted considering I don't use sportline

It works. Can confirm it is the Paramount Plus with Showtime, no ads. It only offers you 30 extra days when you click cancel though, not 90. Still a great deal for a whole year.

Weirdly, when I go to cancel it offers to extend to January 2025, not March. I used a brand new email address for both Sportsline and Paramount (same new address for both). Thoughts?
Are you in California? I'm also in California and only get one month.

Looking at another poster it seems that if you do the three month option then you have to call to cancel. In California there is a law that you have to be able to cancel subscriptions online (no call) that you sign up for online, so maybe they figure without the friction of a call needed it's only worth giving away one extra month.

I had this last year, but it was $10. They seem to have jacked up the price like crazy this year.
I had subscribed Paramount+ for Champions League.

same question....

Has anyone with the last April expire deal tried this new deal after cancel of current account?

Would like to keep the current email account active, not needing to recreate the already watched items
I had until Jan 2024 before last years deal was over (it was an extension from Oct). I went ahead and cancelled early and then logged out and logged back in and it allowed me to sub again in which I did then did an early cancel which gave me until March 2025. I would wait it out and not do the cancel early as I think they changed it for now.
