Thanks for the reminder, my wife's sportsline account was about to expire. I signed up with my email that I used previously and it worked, March 2025 after threatening to cancel. I did have to login to paramount using paramountplus.com/sportsline for paramount plus to work.

If you use the online cancel button and accept the 3 month free extension you will need to call to cancel before it renews in 18 months. If you don't accept the 3 month extension you can cancel online without the phone call.

I was able to cancel my subscription, log out of the account, log back in five minutes later and choose the "Upgrade Account" option on Sportsline.com then enter the code and it let me activate my account with the discounted price.

Does the $35 deal include Showtime? It's not listed in the original post, but I've seen some people mention Showtime in the thread. Can anyone confirm? Thanks!
Yes, since paramount and showtime are now together.

I think they shut down that loophole. Lol. It reads:
"To receive 3 months extra, attempt to cancel your Sportsline subscription and you will be prompted to extend your account for free. Only one free extension per user. Do not fully cancel your Sportsline subscription as that will end your benefits including Paramount+ immediately."
I don't know where they got the last part, when you try to cancel it says: "...Your subscription access is immediately terminated upon cancellation if all paid subscription time has elapsed."

As we're doing annual subscriptions we should be good, also wondering if someone has already done this and can confirm we'll still have access, hate having to remember to cancel these things in a year. !@#$ auto-renewal

Still works as of 12-15-23 @ 1334 central.

Sportsline and P+ do not have to have the same email address. I already had a free SL acct with the email I used for P+. Upgraded SL to $35/yr, clicked the SL/P+ linking link and used the gmail add a dot trick.

Boom. New P+ w/ Showtime linked to SL account and free.

Thanks OP.

Worked for me as of 2023-12-15

I had an existing Paramount+ account that did not have an active subscription. I created a new Sportsline account using the same email address or my Paramount+ account, paid the 34.99, logged into my Paramount+ account, then went to the " Paramount+ to link your accounts" link in the deal post and now have Paramount+ with SHOWTIME.

Under my Subscription & Billing in Paramount+ it shows: "It looks like you have a Paramount+ subscription via SportsLine. To make changes to your billing information, please visit www.sportsline.com."

When trying to cancel the Sportsline account it offered 1 month of additional time.

Ya, it reads like "access is terminated" meaning whatever you haven't paid. But since we paid 1yr in advance, we should have the benefits until it runs out in a year. It makes zero sense that your membership is terminated when you cancel regardless of how much time is left that you already paid for.

All I really wanna do is cancel this sportsline thing so I don't forget and get billed for some sports gambling crap in a year.

What I plan to do is update my payment method to a prepaid visa gift card or reloadable visa card.

Gna do this for all trial subscriptions and just keep loading the card from time to time. 😈

Go into your calneder app, pick a date 360 days from now (give yourself 5 days to get it done), and say cancel this order. Sign up for an e-debit card or temp credit card, only put the amount of this order so it can't renew.

Rejoined! had to clean up my old Paramount logins, however. I didn't realize I'd used so many of my email addresses!

so you were able to use different email addresses for sportsline and paramount plus then? All I get is an active account screen now when I go to the OP link. and yeah it is probably the t-mobile plan from last year. (expires December 26, 2023.)
Yes, the trick for me was to log into the dormant P+ account, log in to SL, and then click on the link in the OP. After that, it showed that my P+ account was managed by SL. I was able to watch a show with no ads.

Also, does this deal work with credit cards that offer cashback for Paramount Plus subscriptions? I think no bc the charge is to Sportsline, correct?
No. Sportsline does the billing not P+

Pissed to learn Paramount+ "Premium" still has ads.

What a waste. Back to torrents.
