Thanks for the reminder, my wife's sportsline account was about to expire. I signed up with my email that I used previously and it worked, March 2025 after threatening to cancel. I did have to login to paramount using paramountplus.com/sportsline for paramount plus to work.

If you use the online cancel button and accept the 3 month free extension you will need to call to cancel before it renews in 18 months. If you don't accept the 3 month extension you can cancel online without the phone call.

I got in on black Friday last year for 9.99. $35 is a pass for me as paramount is likely my least watched streaming service. Their UI is stuck in 2011
Same opinion here

Lioness was great.
Rabbit Hole was fun (think 24, but not a gov't)
Tulsa King looks good and is on my list.

If you like Star Trek, you've got:
  • Discovery 3 seasons (this show takes a hard turn each season and isn't much like the previous one)
  • Picard 3 seasons
  • Strange New Worlds 2 seasons
  • Below Decks 2 seasons (mildly entertaining, if you watch the other/older Trek).
  • and all the old series...

CBS Stuff:
  • The Equalizer
  • Under the Dome

Plus Showtime.
It's Lower Decks (pretty good show) since Below Deck is a Yacht drama. Smilie

And yes Under the Dome is teh best!

However, I wanted to clarify, since I signed up for 12 months, if I were to cancel my Sportsline subscription, I understand no refund and my subscription would remain active but simply not renew in 12 months. No issues there.

But the first post seems to suggest that if I go through with the Sportsline cancellation process, that will immediately end my Paramount+ subscription even though my Sportsline subscription is paid through for 12 months?

Is that right? I have to leave the Sportline account active and set to auto renew in order to maintain access to Paramount+?
Correct! and confirmed with my own account. If you follow through on canceling Sportsline you will lose access to P+. You can attempt to cancel Sportsline and they will offer you 3 additional months if you don't cancel, moving your renewal date to March. Set a reminder for close to your renewal date to come back and cancel. sportsline.

As I mentioned on page 17, I've had sportsline + PP for three years in a row now. This year during black Friday I was enrolling in various black friday streaming deals and discovered sportsline was still active. Without thinking, I canceled it even though I still had it through March of '24. Later that evening during TV time I went to use P+ as normal and was out of luck, it prompted me to pick a plan. There was no way to regain access to P+ without signing up again somewhere. So, I paid the 3.99 to restart it under the black friday deal, then when this new SportsLine deal came up I started a new account on Sportsline and authorized a new account on P+. So, I can definitely confirm that canceling sportsline will immediately remove your access to P+.

Perhaps this offer has just changed. When I went to the signup screen, it clearly states in the graphic on the right new subscribers get a 30-DAY TRIAL of Paramount+ when opening a new one-year subscription to Sportsline. I cannot find any screen which promotes one year of Paramount+ service. Does anyone have a screen which offers a 1-year term of Paramount+ with Sportsline? I am not seeing it.

I'm getting "could not find coupon" ...is it dead?

edit:
nevermind, it gives that error when it auto-selects monthly, but when switching to yearly, it works

No that is how it reads for everyone since the offer started. It is how it is read for over a year of people doing this deal.

The first post in this thread after the OP asked the same exact thing.

New people, to save yourself heartache or hair pulling, sign up to Sportsline, do not use an existing Paramount Plus+ account, even if it only had Essentials on it. Just make a new account. Once you do that, it will say premium in the Paramount+ settings. Cancel Sportsline immediately. You will still have it for the year. Set a calendar entry for a year from now letting you know that your subscription is going to expire.

or, just don't use this offer at all, because Paramount+ has one of the worst if not worst interfaces and user experiences out of the major streaming services.

Does anyone know how to check when your current subscription expires? I've logged into sportsline and gone into my account but I don't see any info other than changing your email address.
