Thanks for the reminder, my wife's sportsline account was about to expire. I signed up with my email that I used previously and it worked, March 2025 after threatening to cancel. I did have to login to paramount using paramountplus.com/sportsline for paramount plus to work.

If you use the online cancel button and accept the 3 month free extension you will need to call to cancel before it renews in 18 months. If you don't accept the 3 month extension you can cancel online without the phone call.

I was not able to get it to link to my existing Paramount+ Essentials plan. I was not able to get to link to the same account even after I canceled the P+ subscription. I even tried logging out of both sites, and it still would not work. The only thing that worked was doing the link part and creating a new Paramount+ account. If I tried hitting sign in at the top, it would not link.

Sometimes situations are your mileage may vary. Just because something works for you, doesn't mean it's always going to work for everyone.

The OP literally says new subscribers. Some existing have got it to work but the key is to read the details in the OP.

I think they have changed the terms. It clearly says in their FAQ that subscription to a paid Sportsline qualifies for a free 30-day trial to Paramount+ Essentials plan.

I didn't, and have never had PREMIUM prior to completing this offer. I've literally said that multiple times.

I decided to bite. Fingers crossed. They certainly make it a point to say you only get it for 30 days. I'll report back.

Make sure after you do the deal you go to the URL paramountplus.com/sportsline. That way you can actually connect the account. Although they have removed the Paramount Plus text on the promo. Sign up. You should be able to go to this link and then complete the sign up process linking the new paramount plus to your sportsline account.

I also want to say this is a gamble for some folks so if it's not working it may not be a sports line issue. You may have not connected your new / renewed Paramount Plus account to the sports line account.

I do think that this deal will be killed due to people not following the instructions on this blurb.

Also, I'm curious if it's going to change since Warner Brothers is apparently going to want to merge with Paramount plus.

Just my two cents, if it's not working right. Just go through the forum here and make sure that you followed all the necessary steps including clicking on the paramount plus sports line link.

I don't believe that the customer support is even aware of this connection so per slick deals, let's not inform them.
