Thanks for the reminder, my wife's sportsline account was about to expire. I signed up with my email that I used previously and it worked, March 2025 after threatening to cancel. I did have to login to paramount using paramountplus.com/sportsline for paramount plus to work.

If you use the online cancel button and accept the 3 month free extension you will need to call to cancel before it renews in 18 months. If you don't accept the 3 month extension you can cancel online without the phone call.

stay away from this pos. signed up last year , they auto renewed even though ive cancelled it . and when you call, it will be routed to multiple services (sports line, 24*7, paramount, fantasy etc., ) and nobody will give you right info.

Nobody knows really, people say the verbiage on the offer was the same the last few years and they kept the promotion the whole year. I signed up about two weeks ago or so and still have access, mobile app says "Paramount + with Showtime through Sportsline" but I did receive an e-mail earlier this week saying "Here is your free trial"

Yeah, you have to watch out for the auto renewal. I cancelled it a few months before it was supposed to renew, I even went back later to make sure it was cancelled, then I checked shortly before it was supposed to renew and it was back to auto renew.

Make sure it's not on auto renew shortly before it's supposed to renew people, even if you have already cancelled the subscription.

$35 is cheap but its been much slicker.... I have been on it for years, first $10 then less than a dollar for the Superbowl promo in Jan 22. Both times got 18 mo out of it on cancel offers. Now just riding a free month promo for several months using cancel trick.

It didn't work for you because you have a current Paramount+ subscription plan. Your current subscription would have to expire before you could link to that account. Easier to just create a new Paramount+ account. You can't have two subscriptions on one account.
