First of all, please ease up on the CAPS.
Also, note that everyone is following what Paramount itself says on its own site:

Paramount itself is saying you get full access to it and showtime if you are a member.
So yes, I am posting what it said and what I experienced.

Who did you call? SportsLine or Paramount+?

Yes, it does say 30 days on SportsLine page but it also says on Paramount+ page that SportsLine members can enjoy Paramount+ with SHOWTIME plan as part of your (SportsLine) subscription.

You need to chill out! The terms do say its only 30 days so its not deceptive. But there have been countless experiences in threads going back years where we have gotten 18 months of P+ Premium with paying for one year of Sportsline and using the cancel trick. So up to you if you want to risk it or not. If you don't move on, if you already did , stick around and see what happens. Yes, Paramount can you hold you to their terms and you can't do shit about it, and calling will just encourage them to enforce it. P+ can go out of business anytime so a year membership is always a risk. Nothing is guaranteed , if you want a slickdeal sometimes you have to take a chance.

My Paramount, plus annual membership was about to expire. I selected to just cancel the membership on its renew date. At first, it just processed the cancellation and then showed the price had gone up from $119.99 to $149.99 if I was to resume it. When I selected resume, it offered a 30% discount for one year bringing the price back down to $119.99.

So, I decided to use the Sportline promotion. Easy to set up the annual membership per the SD instructions. Annual subscription code discounting the price down to $35 for the year plus Paramount+ with Showtime and no ads. (apart from some trailers for other Paramount shows they now force you to watch before seeing what you want to see even though you're paying for no ads).

Once you have applied the payment process for your your annual subscription to Sportline, it will take you to a page to establish your Paramount+ account. When I tried to use my existing or an old canceled account email, it would not accept it, saying that that account already existed. I then used an email that I had already set up in the past for my cat, which worked. So, it looks like you will need to set up your Paramount account with an email that is not been used by you before for Paramount+.

I have paid the full annual price for Paramount at least two years, so I don't mind taking advantage of this promotional discount. Get it while you can because I think it's about to expire.

My Paramount+ account (established with my cat's email) shows the subscription is tied to my Sportline account. My Sportline account says I am set up for one year. So, I will see if the Paramount promotion sticks past 30 days. And cancel if it doesn't.

My paramount+ cannot stream properly. It always stops streaming after 10-20 minutes. Anybody has similar issues?

I have tried 4 movies and couldn't finish any one of them.

I don't have any issue with youtube and amazon prime video.

FWIW - inactive paramount+ account emails can take advantage of this deal. I was able to log in with the old Paramount+ account after signing up to Sportsline and it successfully linked

I tried that and for me it said my account already existed when trying to link Sportline to my old inactive Paramount+ account email. Worked when I put in a whole new email address I had never used with Paramount+ before.

The way that these apps and billing software are set up one has to remember that it's usually buggy as hell. Programmed by guns for hire that are not even around anymore to fix holes or do updates. We're lucky it works at all.

Good points. When you call Support on the phone and ask them if this is for the Paramount 30 day, free promotion, or a one year Paramount+ add-on, you've got to remember that these are usually part-time folks working from a computer in their home. Or a call center in Mexico/India. They are reading from a script. They can't help you most of the time and they are only reading off what they've been told, which can be inaccurate.

Do I believe that the code written for this promotion gives me Sportline and Paramount+ premium with Showtime and no ads for a one year annual subscription at the low price of $35? Yes, I do. So far everything looks to be set up and functioning as such. The wording in the sports line information is vague and loose but implies this is the deal.

I got the same kickback (account already exists). When I then logged on to the old acct, it continued to process the Sportsline link
