Thanks for the reminder, my wife's sportsline account was about to expire. I signed up with my email that I used previously and it worked, March 2025 after threatening to cancel. I did have to login to paramount using paramountplus.com/sportsline for paramount plus to work.

If you use the online cancel button and accept the 3 month free extension you will need to call to cancel before it renews in 18 months. If you don't accept the 3 month extension you can cancel online without the phone call.

Today I get an email from Sportsline about activating my free 30 day subscription to Paramount+ and Showtime... so a little worried that it lasts the full year like last year... I never did see mention of a full year either time, but I did not receive this email last time either...
Guess find out in a few weeks if it works like last year or not...

I never saw Paramount was included for one year. I only saw 30 days. I used the coupon code, made the purchase and I still haven't received anything stating one year of Paramount is included. I guess I will find out in 30 days. I hope everyone that claimed the deal is still active was correct.

As others have said this has been happening for over a year now and everyone gets the 30 days email/language but it is still working.

Go to Paramount+ website and look for FAQ. You will see it says Sportsline subscriber now can access Paramount+ with Showtime. I printed the FAQ if I need it down the road.

I found the Paramount+ FAQ on it as well before subscribing so figured I could argue if it didn't work.

I went ahead and this is what it shows in the Paramount+ app (sorry can't do a screenshot it seems) -

I did not get a mail from Paramount+ though.

I did this deal last year and when I log into sportsline and look at my account it says that it expires on 4/22/24. I know this is for new subscribers, but I'm wondering if this is worth doing now so I can have paramount plus from 4/23 through end of year (or whenever the 1 year is up). It means I'm paying $35 for 7 months so about $5 a month. Am I understanding this correctly? Is there a better deal for my circumstances that I'm not understanding?

I just canceled Paramount+ and I was only able to get 30 days of Paramount Essentials using code for $35. I changed email address in Sportsline to iCloud hide my email and created new account in Paramount+. Created different birthday also. Was able to get year of P+ included. Hope this helps.

Signed up for this deal last nite and was able to link to Paramount+. Paramount+ works on my phone (used to sign up) but, when I go to login with my TV, I get an error saying login/password is not correct.

UPDATE: Success! I had to follow the above advice and create a new Paramount+ account, changing my email and birthday while linking my account.

So I have been following this and read most of the comments. Has this line newly been added when creating a sportsline account? The below shows when creating a new account.

"Paramount+ is for US residents only. Paramount+ account activation not valid during discount promotional periods."

To me this means very clearly it will not work no? So people are saying just ignore anything it says and it still works? Its a bit confusing. In about a week a host of people should either run out of their 30 days or it will continue so I am tempted to just wait another week since I have waited this long so far. Any suggestions?

Your question is redundant and based on thousands of experiences in multiple threads it works. . So waiting at this point it's useless. Either take the risk or don't

Not sure you read what I was asking? I asked if this LINE has been added not a single comment I have seen mentioned "Paramount+ is for US residents only. Paramount+ account activation not valid during discount promotional periods." I have seen plenty of comments mentioning they have done this in the past but nobody brought up this new line when singing up. I think this may have been added recently after this slickdeal got popular. Thus it may have worked at one time but it would no longer now.
