Thanks for the reminder, my wife's sportsline account was about to expire. I signed up with my email that I used previously and it worked, March 2025 after threatening to cancel. I did have to login to paramount using paramountplus.com/sportsline for paramount plus to work.

If you use the online cancel button and accept the 3 month free extension you will need to call to cancel before it renews in 18 months. If you don't accept the 3 month extension you can cancel online without the phone call.

Yeah, this is false. I have done Sportsline/P+ deals a few times already and every time got a cancel extension and cancelled online.
Wait- so if I accepted the 3 month extension over a year ago and want to cancel now, even if I get the email, my subscription is not actually canceled and they will bill me again?

Just signed up for SportsLine and Paramount+. How do I know that I will get a year of P+ for free? All it says under subscription is that it is billed thru SportsLine.

It says "NEW! SportsLine membership includes a 30-day free trial of Paramount+ Essentials" - is the promo still for ad-free + Showtime?

Can anyone confirm if they are getting 4k or HDR? I signed up for this and don't have either on an Xbox one X. Is paramount blocking HDR and 4k because this is a discounted plan handled by a 3rd party?

I just signed up and its showing Showtime in my account. However, if 4k is important to you you might wanna wait until someone confirms my suspicions. They look to be blocking 4k and HDR for this deal. Its just regular HD with nothing at all available in 4k for me hugely disappointed.

Are you able to access 4k or any HDR content? I see NO options on any shows or movies at all. I previously subbed and they had banners for movies and shows that supported it. Looks like they are blocking these features if subbed through sportsline.

Well that is super weird. Not sure to contact but I have zero 4k or HDR for any content. I even went to look at Picard and it never swaps over to any of the HDR modes available on my tv.

Update: The list of 4k approved devices seems to be the crux of the issue. They are ONLY as of follows for those having this issue later. These used to include Xbox consoles and PlayStation. Customer support said this plan featured here in Slick deals does include the 4k plan its not being blocked. Their tech support team is reaching back out to me as I thought that was a very small approved list.

If you have the Paramount+ with SHOWTIME plan, you can watch shows in 4K, Dolby Vision or HDR10 video formats on supported devices below that are connected to a 4K/DV/HDR10 capable TV.

iPhone or iPad
Apple TV 4K HDR
Android phone, tablet or TV
Fire TV (4K Stick, Cube)
Roku

Bumping this up since we are approaching the cancellation period. I know for some it is March but might as well give you a heads up now.

Pardon my ignorance but is "Sportline". I even went to their website and couldn't understand what actually is?

I did this before and my subscription is coming to an end. Is it enough to use a different email address (such as one of my work email addresses) with the same name? And if I use a different credit card but with the same billing address, will their computer system see it is an existing user (because of the same name and billing address)? Could anyone who got this to work a second time give some more details? Thanks.
