I have several of these.. they can handle about 10 lbs per drawer without bending, so will work fine for clothes or random storage. Don't stack items on top, unless they are wider.. or if you can place a wooden board/shelf on top.
This are great to put in your closet for underwear and socks if you're trying to get rid of big old fashioned pieces of wooden furniture taking up valuable floor space in a bedroom.
