I surprisingly didn't see this posted already. Seems to be about the cheapest it goes for direct from Amazon.

I have a set of individual Kasa plugs at my 90-year old mother's house. I have two things plugged in there. One is the receiver for her DISH network. The other is a VOIP device. Both of them occasionally need to be reset and she's not capable of doing it. So I would have to drive 20 minutes to simply unplug the device and plug it back in. With the remote control, now when she tells me her phone doesn't work, I just pull out my smart phone and turn the power off to the device then back on again. Saves me a ton of time.

Not something that everyone needs but it's a huge deal for me.
It has been this price for a little bit. I have it in my cart trying to find a use for it before I purchase. Each socket can be controlled individually.

It's on here all the time, often aggregated with other deals. As other poster noted, pretty much usual price for this.

can each usb be controlled individually? Does this make sense to only charge devices after peak hours? In Bay Area, its 50 cents kwh for peak and 25 cents for non peak.

Agree. Got excited when I got the alert for this but alas, it's the 39.99 it's been for a little bit already.

The USB ports are always on and cannot be controlled at all. This is disappointing for whomever would want this to use this to control USB powered devices such as LED string lights.

You could plug in a USB charger and use the strip to turn it on and off

I was thinking home theater stuff. I have a single outlet on mine and see that even with things off or sleeping I'm still pulling 37 watt. This is TV, Receiver, subwoofer, PS5, roku, etc.

50 cents and 25 cents?! Is that total or just for actual electric (without delivery)?

Bought it at this price and it works great. It is smart home connected via HomeAssistant and everything shows up properly.
