The easiest and cheapest way to put a 85"-98" tv on a stand would be IKEA. 2 IKEA Lack square tables and 2 IKEA Lack TV stands in the middle costs less than $100 and can hold up to 200lbs easily.

In for 1. Thanks for the post. Will be putting a 70" on this thing with router and PlayStation setup. I don't expect it to have any issues carrying that weight.

And these dimensions are perfect for where it's going (and I'd assume most) who has a staircase adjacent entry door. Those dimensions are 80"-90" in length.

I like the design and looks. Doesn't look too hard to build and it'd be much sturdier than particle board. Even MDF would last a good deal longer. I get not everyone can or are looking to build.

Using as a coffee table would mean moisture going to make the particle board warp in no time.

It really irritates me that so many of these furniture manufacturers don't take into consideration actual usability. Why are there so few pieces of furniture that have space for a center channel speaker? They're always divided up evenly, because that's the cheapest, and it ends up there's no center space.

It came with eight legs! I set both up around 15 minutes ago. I'm happy with it. I can hold a 55 inch on one table if need but definitely using both for the looks 😁

They also lack organized space for a receiver, BR player, (Cable Box for some people). I'd use a sep stand for peripheral equipment so this doesn't look too cluttered, even if I wall-mount my TV. It kind of defeats my use purpose.

my sony 85 inch weights 110lb. its feet are 18inch deep. metal stand is best for 85 inches. then put a cheaper small console to conceal the metal stand and have some storage for receivers etc
