Impulse deal for a 5 year old.

Takeaways as time passed:
Circular trampoline isn't as big as you think.
If you place near leaves, add another item to clean on your list.
Near any utility lines, bird poop!
If placed on a lawn, you won't be able to mow the grass underneath (which still grew for me!) unless you feel like moving it.
Once interest is lost in using it, it becomes a landmark.
Getting rid of it is hard, even for free.
Outer edge cover/pole cover/netting will deteriorate over time due to weather.

I got one last time, and it was missing the net. They gave me a full refund and let me keep the trampoline.

Yet look at three people who commented on this thread, bit last time and it's been nothing but headaches from missing pieces

These are good. Just remember to add alerts for lower prices on replacement netting and skirting and the trampoline itself. You can get them for half the normal price if you're good about it.
I've owned 2 trampolines over a decade here in CT. Only got rid of (sold) the previous one because I found a deal on a Propel 15' that was larger. The skirting, deck (jump surface) and netting will degrade in the sun due to UV. That said, most degradation will happen due to weather, particularly snow. If you take this down over winter (which isn't that hard to do), it will last a very long time. We take ours down and disassemble the frame. The frame is left outside. The rest is brought under cover. Also, I store all the springs in a bucket (just easier to do so) and give it a good hosing down with WD40 prior to storage. That seems to keep the rust away all year.

And your home owners insurance company will not cover you or your friends. Use at your own risk.
I would say most will cover it. I'm not an insurance pro, but I've been working with an independent agent that shops for me for over 20 years. Insofar as trampolines are concerned, they tell me that ignorance is bliss, meaning you aren't required to volunteer to them (insurance co) that you're getting a trampoline. Oddly enough many times dogs are the same way - some breeds are a no no, but only if you own them at the time the policy is shopped and purchased. Once the policy is in place, you can then get the no-no dog, and keep it even under renewals with no issue. I would encourage anyone to check their own policies though.

I ordered last time and got both boxes, but I'm waiting until spring to assemble it. Skywalker generally have good reviews and I'm replacing a Propel which we used for years and finally started showing wear. I'd recommend disassembling every fall and storing for the winter if you want it to last. Another note is Skywalkers have a lower weight limit than Propel does, though I don't really put much faith in that.

At $130 do we really spend the time disassembling and assembling 2x a year?

I disassemble mine in November and assemble again in April. It takes me 30 minutes or so each time. Only the foam on the poles shows any wear after 2 years.

It takes an hour max, and never know what the price will be next time you re-buy (not to mention how wasteful that is), so yeah I'd say so.

Curious how people disassemble it as quickly as they're saying, especially the net. Felt like the net took hours to put on.
