Is this better than the black Zarak that was recently on sale? I bought that for my 15yo who really like transformers but if this is a better Bot I'll return it and get this instead

They are both titan class and retail at about the same price. It all depends on the person's preference. Just get them both and decide which one to keep. BB returns are until Jan 15th.

not sure why, Beachcomber and Cosmos came from the legacy line and other OG figures that were not part of '86.
It's all the recoloring of the same mold that gets annoying because they have a tendency to shelf warm.

I love Metroplex, but I am unimpressed with the lazy alt mode on this one. Instead of transforming, it looks like Metroplex just leaned back, stuck a digger arm on his chest, and called it a day.
