Might have to grab that Cyberpunk bundle though… and MK1.

But personally, my distaste for Epic as a company (and their CEO) overrides any desire I might have to save money by buying from them. I'd rather save even more money and just skip the game entirely.
So I wouldn't buy any games on Epic Games Store for more than $5 aka a rental fee because you probably won't have access in the next five years. And Timbo's not a guy who cares about planning out a way to help you keep access if he's leaving the gaming store market.
Epic laying off nearly 1K employees despite the cash cow that is Fortnite is not a good look. Some could even argue their losses on the store could have kept those people employed and working on other projects to supplement or eventually replace Fortnite. As soon as that well eventually dries up Epic will not have nearly enough funding (or seemingly interest) in maintaining the store properly, they barely even do anything to it as it is. And even if the store keeps limping along you can be sure these coupons will be a thing of the past.

Epic is known to be very "anti consumer" despite the entire attempt to paint Apple in the same light. Epic even lost a major recent lawsuit for deceptive store tactics in fortnite.
Not to mention that China (Tencent) owns one of the largest corporate holdings of the company. It just adds to the distrust.
I'm not sure why I even bother with trying to debate ethics on a site that continually shows that people would cut off their own foot if it meant they could save $.01 on shoes.

For the most part it's virtually the same. But for some (like myself) I much prefer steams platform. But if the sale is good enough epic is fine. I really like some of the steam achievements frankly. But this is the cheapest I've seen for 2077 ultimate.
You can add Epic Games to your Steam library if you prefer Steam. Just have to install them first through epic then add them to Steam if I remember correctly.
