Yup, the deal now is misleading. The thumbs up were for AW series 8 45mm Stainless Steel GPS + Cellular and not aluminum with cellular.

Yes, the deal is dead. Aluminum GPS+Cellular is still a good price but not as good as the one with Stainless Steel. If you don't care about Cellular, you can get Apple Watch 9 Aluminum for a slightly cheaper price.

I've had an iPhone for a couple years now, but I've also had a whoop for about a year and never used the Apple health stuff. 2 questions for those that have possible used both, how does the Apple health and whoop stack up 1 v 1 and also does the Apple health require a monthly/yearly subscription?

This one appears to be the aluminum, not the SS. Unless I'm misunderstanding the your post?

Just got the S8 SS 45mm graphite watch. It had no juice at all; it's been on the charger with the green thunderbolt icon for about 10 minutes and still refusing to turn on. Patiently waiting Smilie

I takes awhile to charge it up (boot up) when the battery was completely discharged.
It was in a warehouse for around a year already.
