People like you are what makes customer service work so miserable. They simply made an attempt to help or upsell you. It has nothing to do with being woke. You could have told them that you plan to produce midget porn, custom microwaves, marijuana smoking Dell's, or just about anything else. The question wasn't about you being the "right kind of customer" but simply doing their job by attempting to make sure you were getting what you needed or at worst, to attempt to upsell you.

Sounds like your purchasing pattern is triggering an automated fraud prevention and they just want to know what account manager to connect you with (they have different teams focused on individuals vs business and companies of different sizes).

If you are annoyed by their marketing tactics or sales team structure, use another company, but this is a business operations thing and not a woke issue.

Def some great specs for the price! Have to be ok with screen. If want nicer screen, have to go up to 1k+ gaming laptops

Really tempted on this. I've been looking for something to run msfs vr with my new quest 3. I don't need maxed out settings but it seems the full wattage 4060 and ryzen 7 should be a good combo for that.

Just hard for me since this laptop would be used only for that lol I have a xsx.

I had the 2021 model before playing around briefly with this exact listed model, and this was sleeker, lighter (5.0 lbs.), and had a better build quality then the 2021 Legion 5. I found a great deal on an open box g14 or I might have kept the Legion 5. It appeared to be the full 140 watts on the RTX 4060, but the Zen 3+ CPU couldn't keep up.

So a few weeks ago I purchased a Dell G15 5535. It has similar specs (hard drive 512gb instead of 1tb ) but the Dell has a Ryzen 7 7840HS vs this which has a 7735HS. Dell was the same price as this. Should I return the Dell
For this since it's from Costco and it includes an extended warranty and great return policy or stick with Dell?
