Samsung 49" Class Odyssey CRG9 Series DQHD Curved Gaming Monitor is on sale for $749.99 (after $250 instant rebate) at Costco.com or Costco warehouses
Expires 12/24/2023

Costco Item# 8490920
Model LC49RG92SSNXZA
5120 x 1440 Resolution with QLED Technology
120 Hz Max Refresh Rate
Screen Curvature 1800R
Aspect Ratio 32:9
Panel Type VA
4ms Response Time
NVIDIA G-Sync and FreeSync Premium Pro
AMD Radeon FreeSync 2 HDR
Height Adjustable Stand / Tilt /Swivel
1x HDMI v2.0, 2x DisplayPorts v1.4, 2x USB-A v2.0 and 2x USB-A v3.0 Ports

This is a super ultrawide monitor and not current year model. I think G9 and Neo are the newer 49" super ultrawides from Samsung and have a more aggressive 1000R curvature with 240Hz refresh rate. You can probably get those models for similar price when on sale through Samsung EDU/EPP or $50-250 higher when on sale through other sites.

They'll hate you more with this super ultrawide 32:9 aspect ratio šŸ˜„ One of the widest ratios I've seen.

It's the same height as the popular 21:9 LG 34" ultrawides and has similar curvature, but is >15 inches wider.

šŸ˜‚ You gotta start using the window share option rather than your whole desktop.

Man I hear you. The only issue with that though is that sometimes I gotta flip between spreadsheets so in Skype (yep) just sharing that one spreadsheet doesn't cut it.

I may though just crack open my laptop and do it that way, flipping between the two screens with the Skype application on the laptop screen....

How does this compare to the neo version that was on sale for $800 via EPP, but sold out? Mainly will be using for work, not games. Costco support seems to be better than Samsung overall. Thanks.

From what I read the neo is better because it has mini-led so it has more local dimming zones and better blacks. Comparison link on rtings.

Anyone got this monitor? Looking for an ultrawide to use 2 computers at the same time. Will be mostly for office work. Samsung have the monitor for $720 with EPP plus some other discounts. With tax and everything. It comes out to $728.

Also, Newegg have it for $720. Does Costco pricematch?
