Wasn't able to use the iTunes gift card, but, hey, $7.99+tax for 12 movies is a score.
I used a gift card to pay for mine.
The way to use an Apple gift card is to just redeem it to your Apple account, and you will see the balance of the gift card added on to your Apple account.
The next time you make a purchase, it will deduct from the balance on your Apple account, before asking you for another payment method like credit card etc.
Lol. This is not a sale. This is a pricing error which is why people are racing home on their lunch breaks to nab it. iTunes package deals for 10+ is typically $19.99.
And those tend to have like 3 great movies and a few good ones along with 5 crap movies.
It's just a great deal in a holiday sales year where retailers are back to needing to try to entice us to keep spending. Inflation and recession fears are making people hesitate a bit for the first year in quite a while, and retailers recognize this. For me, I've found crazy deals on pretty much everything on my shopping list this year. Also remember that digital content costs pretty much nothing to produce, it's nearly 100% profit, considering the cost of making the movies and digitizing them have already been covered.

Who needs to race home when you can do it from your desk? You still got a flip phone bud?
It opens a pop-up on Apple TV that shows all 12 movies. The only option is "close." And after you close, it only shows Grand Torino and it gives no option to buy it, or the package.
I thought I was going to be too late on this deal, but it is still $7.99 as of this post. Like many, I already had some movies, but it is still a deal on the ones I didn't have. Nice find, OP!

Yeah. I'm convinced these aren't mistakes with how they're regularly occurring at this point. Like when I noticed they added West Wing Complete series back to iTunes with WB 100 branding and could feel that $15 "mistake" was coming. I literally added it to my wishlist to keep an eye on it and within like 3 weeks it happened.
And with it being WB shows and movies just get the sense they're using us to build cash on hand to help their current financial situation.
And I suspect the way these work is they pick how many copies they're willing to sell at fire sale price and when it hits that magic number the sale ends. Pretty Little Liars lasted like at least 3 days at $15 but some of the other deals that got more buzz, at least on SD, seemed to last barely 12 hours.

They always do. Totally unrelated, but I just noticed that they upgraded Aliens(1986) today to 4k vision/atmos. It is a stunning transfer idk how they got rid of all that grain and it sounds incredible. Apparently the disc is coming in March/April. Same for Abyss and True Lies
How does this work… if I buy this collection in Apple and use Movies Anywhere, and one of these HDX titles is later available in 4k, are you saying Apple will upgrade it automatically for me? If so will that carry over to movies anywhere? For example if I play a title on Vudu?
