Man, I bought this on clearance from Walmart in 2016 for $95. How times have changed. I really need a new one but can't justify the price.

Good price new if you need it. Only way cheaper is there's been some random clearances in the past (which I dont think Weber will do with this line as much) or random facebook find. I got mine off facebook sub $200 but thats not normal. This walmart seller prob got some through liquidator route or clearance route, making some profit on that but not a lot. You may see some more price markdowns as this box is huge - how I got mine off facebook as the guy had it for a long time, didnt use it and it just took up too much space.

Got mine a few years back from Home Depot for $99, completely by chance, on clearance. (I was shocked because Webers never go on sale) Great grill with two cooking surfaces.

They sell used for < $200 in most of the country. It's not uncommon to find them barely used.

Sadly I see a lot of these left out on the curb for trash in my area. If I had space I'd pick em all up and sell em on Facebook marketplace

those are probably the smaller ones. either way i would pick them up and flip them as you stated.
