It is not. I was a PS+ member last year. I got the email too. It is 30% off of 12 month subscription. The 30% is applies to all 3 of their plans when purchasing a 12 month subscription. I wish Dollar General had 15% off their Playstation gift cards. Too bad not this time around.

Well, if you used to be a member, that's not the same as being a current member. I'm not sure if that's what you intended. Anyway, the original post should be YMMV. I have an active account tried to upgrade and got no discount. My kid went online (he doesn't have PS Plus) and it showed up. I get the same discount offer until I log into my account.

Oh, Sony not only wanted to say "fark you for being our highest tier member" during Black Friday. They wanted to do it again before the end of the year.

Edit: Did not realize Slickdeals would change my f word to fark. Nice touch.

I was able to get this deal on the website as a returning customer after not having PS+ for over a year, so it looks like this is a targeted deal.

PS+ Premium for 12 months showed up as $111.99.

Not working for me. I refuse to pay their high premiums. I'll accept that fact that I won't be able to use parts of games that are only accessible through subscription.
