Newegg can't tell you what you can and can't use a product for.

You can make it a primary, secondary, tertiary drive; you can assign it any drive letter of the alphabet.

You can use this drive to spread butter on toast.

This is a PCIe Gen 3 drive. PS5 requires PCIe Gen 4.

How's the quality/longevity on team group ssd's? I jumped on the 4tb Acer Predator deal a while back and read recently the controller likes to fail on them. So I really want to get something reliable to act as a clone essentially of the Acer, so I'm not super worried about the speed.
The 4TB has a Realtek controller and SKHynix NAND. I'm not familiar with the controller but the NAND is solid.

The other size variants use a Phison controller and Kioxia NAND, which are both solid.

Hard to say. TeamGroup has long endurance claims on their SSDs. But that's really just a measure of how long they want to be on the hook for warranty purposes.

Does the 100,000 mile warranty mean Hyundai is a more reliable car? It started to encourage buyers when everybody viewed them as unreliable junk. Toyota and Honda only have 30k mile warranties and they're viewed as the most reliable choices.

That being said, I have a 1 TB MP34 taking about 30GB of backup data daily and it's been fine for a year. They seem ok to me.

Thanks! Has anyone used Clonezilla to clone a system drive?
I do it all the time, only downside is it won't dump image if the target drive is smaller than the source image (ie. image from a 512gb storage to a 256gb drive)

I've used this trick. Shrink the free space from within Windows and leave the shrunk space unformatted when you do the clone. I've used this trick a couple of times with Macrium Reflect to clone bigger HDDs to SSDs a few times.

I think macrium reflect can do the shrinking within the app but not the clonezilla
I still use it all the time, the boot drive is easy to create and it can handle drives cross-platform

Yes, projected to go up by 50% or more in 2024. If you even think you need storage and have the money for it, now is the time to buy.

It can, but it will resize your recovery partitions too, which can cause problems after it's cloned if you ever need to use these partitions. Bigger recovery partitions aren't a problem, but smaller can cause issues sometimes.
