$1298 original price?? Must be because of the battery bundle. At that price point are the self propelled ones.

Soon we will come full circle to 120 volt then back to gas the only thing that works best 😂

This seems way better than a basic $600 gas powered unit. Will these batteries work with anything else? 4 12ah batteries is wild

It beats not having to smell gas but I prefer 15amp+ corded Snowjoe's which you can find dirt cheap for under $100.

Our community has rated this post as helpful. If you agree, why not thank madcow3417

FYI the batteries are 4 x 24V batteries to reach 96V in series. There are no spare batteries here. 4 x 24V x 12Ah = 1,152Wh. This is about twice the energy as a car battery.
Also, lithium-ion batteries don't do well in the cold. They'll self-heat while discharging so you can use them in the cold, but they should be stored and charged ideally above freezing.

Buy a real snowblower please
I agree everyone should have a gas power SB, but having one of these can have its pros. Example if Im not home my wife can easily use one of these vs a gaint SB that she cant handle. Also on a lighter snow storm (1-3inches) these will work better.

I've been eyeing the Ryobi 40v SB

I have a 12hp Ariens. I also own a few different shovels. This too has a purpose. Personally, I have the 48v I picked up on a BF deal.

Its worse. This model is known to over heat the batteries while running, causing a shut down.

I just order this for a smaller driveway and sidewalk. Still up in the air of keeping or returning. Live upstate NY and winters have been mild the last couple years 🤞 but should I buy something else or stick with this

It's only single stage and from my experience Snow Joe it's on the lower end of quality. I have a Cub Cadet 3 stage gas blower for my driveway and I bought 2 Snow Joe snow blowers last year for my 24'x16' deck, one was plug in and the other was battery, they don't work that great even just for the deck, I kept the plug in one because it worked better and it was cheaper, I returned the battery one. Theres videos on YouTube of how bad they perform. You can't keep going straight you have to push forward pull back push forward pull back over and over it gets bogged down unless its light fluffy snow.
