Do people downvote gold coins because they can't afford them? The last gold coin from the same retailer at the same price from a couple hours ago was front page.

I am curious too, I assume it's the "buy gold etf/bitcoin" crowd down voting these.

Seems be about 2% above spot. Considering one can pay with a CC, not a bad deal if one wants to buy physical gold. Not sure how they can sell maple leafs this cheap as they still have to pay the shipping.

Yeah it's a mystery to me how they sell at such a low premium. Especially since this is a Costco exclusive assay version.

I would argue that Maples and AGE both have additional premium over traditional bullion. This fares well when you go to sell them. with that said, gold is high- with the equity market on a run and interest rates on hold, we might be at the top of the market for Precious metals.

It just does not make sense that they can afford the CC fee, shipping, Costco fee and be only 2% above spot on maple leafs. Buy price is about $100 below their sell price. They might be netting an extra $25 to $50 a coin. Someone must be wanting to liquidating a large holding fast to go thru all this trouble.

I think they buy on the days when price is lower and wait for days for it to go up to put it on sale. Like last week it was $2030

Or ... we might not. Since no one can predict the future why are you trying? You have a 50-50 chance of being right. Is your reference to market top for bragging rights if you get it right?Ha ha
