Yeah, great deal. I play my Nocturne Blue one daily. I got for $150ish and thought that was a good deal. Great to slug to lessons or keep near the couch.

Just be aware it's a parlor guitar, so not full-size or full-size resonance.

Also mine had gritty/rough frets and polished them. The matte blue on mine soaks up oils and gets a little stained—but the matte neck and body are so smooth. (Not sure about the natural).

I picked one up the last time this deal was here. Completely blown away at how nice it looks and plays. I use mine for fingerstyle playing and it's more or less perfect for a beginner/intermediate player. Packaged really well with a box inside a box which always makes me happy.

I have a Baby Martin guitar that is in its last stages. Does this compare?

Some of the little martin guitars have a solid wood top. That overall could be a big advantage over this guitar in my understanding. However, I bought this one several weeks ago and am enjoying it.

I tightened up the truss rod with the Allen wrench and it made it easier to play. I have some nicer guitars that I haven't played very much for years. I like that this one is smaller and cheap, so if the kids knock it over it's not a big deal and I can leave it out in our living room without worrying about it.

I got one of these on sale for ~$150 last year and I love it. As others have said, it's a great beginner/intermediate guitar to have next to the couch. Great value IMO.

Bought one of these to play while spending a summer out west. Fun little guitar and quiet for an acoustic which I think is a plus. Nails that Colter Wall fingerpicking guitar sound.

I think the quality of these is getting overstated. These are good, but they're basically starter guitars or cheap beater acoustics. A full-sized guitar in the $200-$300 range sounds significantly better, but for $109 this is still a solid buy.

If you want to replace the Martin, check out creamcityguitars.com - they have a 20% off sale right now with code XMAS20. I bought a Martin 000Jr-10 from them back during the black friday sale. They don't charge tax or shipping so it ended being $439.20. Obviously a lot more than this deal, but I think it's a pretty good price for an all solid wood Martin.

What is the difference between finishes? reccomendations? The sunburst one is Gretch "Roots Collection", while the stained one does not specify that (standard)? Is one better than the other? Opinions on the finish choice? Same price for both. Thanks!
